1. Controller
The provider named in the legal notice is responsible for the app “Rowbook” and this website. Contact: apps@luhzifer.net
2. In short
Rowbook collects no personal data. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and sends no data to us or to third parties.
3. Data in the app
- Rowbook stores your projects, counters, notes and settings only locally on your device. They leave it only as part of your own device backup (iCloud or Google) if you have turned it on, or as a backup or CSV file that you create and share yourself.
- Counting on the lock screen: if you choose, Rowbook shows the counter as a Live Activity (iOS) or a notification (Android). Android asks for permission to show notifications, iOS for permission to show Live Activities. The display is created on the device; nothing is transmitted.
- Siri (iOS): if you say “Add a row in Rowbook”, Apple processes the voice input under its own terms; Rowbook only receives the command.
- Rowbook requests ratings through Apple’s or Google’s dedicated interface. Whether and how you rate is handled only by them.
- The Android version has no internet permission; the iOS version makes no connections either.
4. Purchase via the App Store and Google Play
Rowbook is sold through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google handle purchase, payment, download and redeeming codes; their privacy policies apply. We receive no payment or contact data, only aggregated anonymous sales figures and – if you agreed in your device settings – anonymous crash reports.
5. Support via Ko-fi
The app and this website contain a link to Ko-fi. It opens in your browser; the app transmits nothing. Ko-fi’s own privacy policy applies. A tip does not unlock anything.
6. Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and message only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The message is deleted once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. This website
The website uses no cookies, no analytics and embeds no third-party content, not even external fonts. When you visit, the server necessarily processes your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser identifier to deliver the page and protect it against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Access logs are switched off.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). As the app collects no personal data, we hold no data about you from its use.
9. Changes
If the app changes, we update this policy. The version published here applies.
